Attorney Ryan Waller is an editor and contributing author of the family law textbook California Family Law, 8th edition, and a co-author of the 2024, 9th edition. At Feinberg & Waller, he assists in leading the firm in legal and administrative roles. Ryan Waller is a driving force in advancing firm process improvement and project management through the evaluation and implementation of technology.
Ryan Waller served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. He represented the State of California in prosecuting criminal cases. He coordinated with law enforcement, judges, defense attorneys, and community organizations. He also reviewed evidence, filed charges, prepared witnesses, and opposed various written motions while managing a fast-paced court calendar.
Before that, Ryan Waller acted as an intern/law clerk in the Pasadena, California Superior Court, where his duties included interfacing with pro per litigants to assist in the courtroom and reviewing documents. He also has experience working at Feinberg & Waller as a marketing intern, law clerk, and associate attorney.
Ryan Waller received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where he became a Dean's Fellow, a member of the Southwestern Journal of International Law, and a Dean's Merit Scholar. He earned the Witkin Award for Excellence in Evidence.
He also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Contracts, Sales, Criminal Procedure, and Evidence, and as a Research Assistant in Contracts, Criminal Procedure, and Evidence.
Ryan Waller is a member of the California Bar Association, the Los Angeles Bar Association (Family Law Section), the California Lawyers Association (Family Law Section), and the American Bar Association (Family Law Section).
